Ballast Point Ventures made a $4 million contribution to Symphonic Distribution, a digital music company. Symphonic Distribution associates with labels/musicians and provides design, audio mastering, marketing and merchandise assistance. Along with the investment, Symphonic decided to include its sales force, develop marketing efforts and elevate product capabilities.

mindset on being profitable and to us, that never felt right. We wanted to take this step when we felt we could build faster and provide a strong return to a group that believed in us and more importantly, record labels and artists that we represent.” – Jorge Brea, Founder, and CEO of Symphonic Distribution.
