Last week, Bandsintown released Version 6.1, bringing an increased opportunity for its 420,000 registered, touring artists to communicate more directly with their fans and followers on the application. "Our fans rely on Bandsintown not only to track the artists they love today but also to discover their next favorite performers and live music experiences,” said Bandsintown managing partner Fabrice Sergent in a statement via Billboard. “Our new features further empower artists to build upon the connection with their core fans.” Version 6.1 of Bandsintown is available now in the iTunes app store and Google Play.
