Nielsen data from the 4th quarter advises that the digital consumption growth isn’t declining regular radio tune-in. Especially, since digital radio is becoming popular, Millennials and consumers 35 and older has increased as well.
Millennials is still listening to regular radio. People who are 18-24 will listen to the radio for 10 hours and 14 minutes, based on the Nielsen’s Total Audience report. Steaming gives Millennials another option if they’re in mobile. Audio streams rose 76.4% and Americans listened to nearly 252 of those streams. 60% of people in this generation has used 2 streaming apps or more.
