Music corporations made it crystal clear about their tunes being played on YouTube. Their hope is that it will compensate more to stream their tunes. However, the companies are not worried about the reason why few video streams are included with ads.
It’s between 30% and 45% of music video streams in the US contains ads. In 2012, it was confirmed that 60% of both official music videos and user-uploaded clips include their music. Which means 55% to 65% of content creators didn’t receive a commission from YouTube music plays, even though YouTube shares ad revenue with music labels.
Some people in the music industry aren’t bothered by the low monetization rates associated with foreign growth due to their musicians’ gain of exposure and making income.
