Apple Closing iTunes Store? | MUSIK !D TV NEWS
Since 2016, Apple made plans to phase-out music downloads from iTunes Store by the start of 2019. With download sales collapsing, Apple became very assertive with scheduling the termination.
According to the company, they would shift a user’s iTunes download selection to a new Apple Music account. Next, with a three-month temporary trial account, the download collection would change into streaming equivalents. Users will not be able to buy music downloads from iTunes Store.
