Currently, YouTube is making a huge adjustment to musician’s channels by developing Official Artist Channels. A musician’s countless official and partly official channels, including their Vevo channel, will ultimately be combined into one.
This alteration may be a part of the new licensing bargains YouTube made with Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment. Vevo videos will still be viewable on Official Artists Channels, but Vevo might lose their position on YouTube. Also, Vevo’s Erik Huggers gave up his position as CEO in December.
