It has been reported that Universal Music Group has agreed with Empire. Empire is an independent music company who’ve worked with Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Cardi B, and more.
The deal declares that UMG and Empire will operate together on elected musician projects from UMG’s labels that will favor from Empire’s unique approach to distribution, digital purchases, advertising, and marketing.
Empire provides its high ranked artist assistants’ worldwide radio and publicity support, along with A&R efficiencies and more definitive services such as sync, media transactions, statistics, and royalty converting.
